LOTUS is an extra white porcelain from the city of Jingdezhen, the world capital of porcelain and cradle of Chinese imperial porcelain for 1,700 years. It is characterized by its extraordinary whiteness and is ideal for tableware and decorative porcelain. Suitable for tableware (food-safe), according to ISO 6486. Available in extruded body (moist form). Presented in a 5 kg cylindrical format in a carton box. Blue earthenware clay. Its blue colour in oxidising atmosphere is a highlight in the range of low firing colours. White stoneware clay with 40% impalpable grog 0-0.2 mm (up to 80 Mesh). Formulated for artistic ceramics, it is ideal for throwing and modelling smooth pieces with fine details. The high content of grog confers an excellent behaviour during drying and firing. Its particular ivory colour after firing is much appreciated and provides an excellent ware for glazes and colouring oxides, which develop bright and intense tones. Grey sculpture clay with 40% fine grog 0-0.5 mm (up to 35 Mesh). Formulated for artistic and decorative ceramics, it is ideal for sculpture and pieces for outdoors (garden pots, tiles, etc.). The high content of grog confers a beautiful textured surface and an excellent behaviour during drying and firing. Depending on the firing temperature, it develops an interesting range of greys, from cement to dark grey, which satisfies the most avant-garde trends in artistic and decorative ceramics.
